About KLATUKLATU Networks, LLC designs, develops and markets wireless sensor network solutions that help Life Science companies optimize the management of cold storage assets and other mission critical laboratory equipment. Our products enable our customers to manage risk, reduce operating costs, achieve energy savings and sustain near-zero breakdown performance by transforming traditional "fail and fix" maintenance practices to "predict and prevent" methodologies. We work collaboratively and we build strong relationships with our customers --incorporating the intelligence of our applications into new best-practices that our customers rely upon to achieve higher levels of efficiency and performance. We also leverage our skills and experience by offering custom engineering design and development services to partners who wish to establish new lines of business or enable new service offerings. KLATU was founded in 2005 by Rick Kriss, an industry pioneer and founder of San Diego based Xsilogy. While CEO of Xsilogy, the company deployed over 400 wireless sensor networks to customers around the world. Mr. Kriss has been a frequent guest speaker at wireless sensor conferences in the USA and Europe, and is quoted often in industry publications as an authority and industry pioneer in the area of wireless sensor network architectures and applications. Mr. Kriss was a recipient of a Frost & Sullivan award for the Most Innovative Product of the Year, recognizing SensorWorX, as the industry's first enterprise-class framework designed to simplify and automate the development and deployment of multi-probe wireless sensor networks and related infrastructure. KLATU maintains operations and development teams in Portland, Oregon, San Diego, California, Connecticut and India.
